Detective Comics: The Spoiler III by Aigue-Marine Detective Comics: The Spoiler III by Aigue-Marine
Alright, guys. This is the last picture of a superhero costume I will post in a while.
Cosplay is a hobby I want to express my versatility with. Therefore I would like to show that Iím also able to portrait characters besides vigilantes in skin-tight suits. Please donít get me wrong Ė I love superheroes and comics, and I especially love Stephanie Brown, but I need some variation once in a while.
Taking a look at my deviantArt gallery I noticed that all pictures look rather dark and cold compared to the pictures I uploaded in 2011. Thatís why I strongly feel like making a colourful costume again and taking some pictures out in the sun as soon as winter is over. Feel free to suggest characters if you like to.

This time there isnít much to say about the costume, I guess. I think itís a pity the colours donít come out the way they are supposed to come out in this picture. In the comics Stephanie always mentions her suit is not purple but eggplant. Consequently it was really important for me to get hold of eggplant-coloured fabric for this costume. The WIP picture ([link]) shows the actual colour of my suit and cape which you cannot see in the pictures I uploaded here.

By the way this is one of my favourite photographs out of this series. I like the location and the dark atmosphere of the picture in general. I think it suits the original series pretty well.

Any questions on how I made this costume? Check out my official F.A.Q. POST!!!

Wow this fantastic. Do you think you could make a body suit tutorial?

Thank you! :)
I don't think I'll make a tutorial though. Check on Google. :) They're plenty of tutorials and patterns out there already!

Haha, yes. I would like to focus on other types of characters.
But don't worry. I will cosplay Catwoman on an upcoming convention in March though. So other superhero pictures will come up sooner or later...

Cutest Detective Ever

As to trying other Cosplay genres and characters? I completely understand and agree. You're just an amazing talent and beauty, sticking with one type of Cosplay (no matter how fantastic) would be a crime.

Thank you! :3

And yes, as in trying other cosplay genres and characters. :) I will do some costumes out of live-action series (such as Irene Adler out of the BBC Sherlock series and Princess Leia out of Star Wars Episode IV) and from animes and mangas.
I won't give up making superhero costumes completely though. There's still one outfit of Stephanie left to make. ;)

Haha! Me too! My dad always loved the movies so I basically grew up with them. I am such a big Star Wars Fan you cannot even imagine.
