LoK: Mako and Korra Iby *Aigue-Marine

I have to admit that I have been a bit hesitant to post pictures of my Korra costume on the internet, because it has caused cosplayers I know a lot of trouble. I hope deviantArt will acknowledge the work I put into the costume though.

This cosplay had been finished back in August already. I'm the biggest failure when it comes to wig styling though. I messed up the wig 4 times until I finally gave up. Thank Goodness lovely and talented L-a-y-l-a agreed to lend me her Korra wig on Connichi Sunday.
I'm happy Line and I were able to take some quick pictures together! She makes the most amazing Mako and I'm looking forward to a proper photoshooting with her! ♥

Personally I'm not convinced by this costume. Its shape is not flattering and I don't think I look like Korra at all. I hope I can revise it soon.

You and your friend look lovely! One of the best Korra cosplayer duos that I've seen! I can see that you put a lot of effort into it. You'll always receive criticism when you do something creative, it's a given. ^^ Great job!

Honnest truth; (At least judging by this picture) : I think Korra is a character that REALLY fits you. You really have a great figure for her :3 It's a shame we won't be getting more pictures, but I understand, as I've seen a lot of drama going on around about the tanning. I think you did great <3 Really, keep it up!

I mean, it's amazing to walk around as Korra. She's my spirit animal. Kind of. xD It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately I never succeeded to make my own wig and the clothes make you look.. rather chubby.

That's why I'm not too fond of the costume.
