Hurrah! I'm back from GenkiCon in Denmark and an exhausting photoshooting weekend at Calssara's! The convention was a blast! I had so much fun there! It was the first convention I ever got invited to as a cosplay judge and it was amazing! Both the cosplay show and the costumes were great and I really enjoyed watching all the skits. I was also asked to give an interview for a Danish YouTube Channel! The interview will be up in a few weeks, I guess. Stay tuned!
The picture you can see above was taken by the amazing Ali Jehad who also took pictures of my Batgirl costume back at J-Pop-Con in November. I'm so happy we found time to take some pictures of my Robin costume although the schedule of the convention was rather right.
This is my favourite photo of the series. The tunic comes up over my hip in here, but hey, you move and the clothes you wear move with you, right? I also wish I had brushed my wig a bit more and had refreshed my make-up, but well, that's what you look like after an exhausting night of crimefighting, I guess. ;D
I really hope you like it! Constructive criticism appreciated!

hehe, your steph as robin is spot on as well! even your cassie as wondergirl is spot on! keep up the good work! you're the second person I know on here who does awesomely brilliant cosplay work!
the one thing that really bothered me about steph, is that her robin cape didn't have that feather look to it to make it look more feminine....
most heroes should have capes, and when the said hero is female; the cape should always look a bit more feminine, compared to their male counterparts....
In this point I dare to diagree. I'm happy they didn't make the outfit she wears more feminine. In fact I'm happy about the way she looks. I mean, what's the point in that? Why can't superheroines wear the same practical attire as their male counterparts? Why does their outfit always have to look feminine, cute and/or sexy instead of realistic and practical?
The first time Stephanie approached Bruce about being Robin in the comics she came into the cave in a self-made Robin!costume which looked similar to one of Supergirl's outfits. Short skirt. Short top. Midriff showing. Bruce took it away from her and gave her different attire. Why did he do it? In Batman's eyes "Robin" is a symbol. Batman's sidekick. A perfect little soldiers. And soldiers wear uniforms. They are supposed to look the same. Female soldiers don't get different uniforms in battle than their male colleagues, do they? So why should Steph?
Haha. Under these circumstances I guess we're down to a question of taste. I'm glad she wear the cape she wears. The feather-cape would have been a paaaain to make. Hehe.
