SM: Haruka and Michiru I by Aigue-Marine SM: Haruka and Michiru I by Aigue-Marine
Spring is finally here - so I decided to share a picture which actually shows what spring in (certain parts of) Germany looks like! ♡
Past weekend we went to Schwetzingen to finally see the Japanese cherry blossoms in the huge park there. It was a stunning view. I was so happy to be there - I had never seen anything like it. The tiny picknick we had organized was gorgeous as well. We had cake and sandwiches and vegetables and sweets... Oh, yeah, and during breaks from eating we also took a couple of pictures.

Talchy and I started working on her Haruka costume about three years ago, but stopped because we couldn't find time to finish the trousers. After three years of waiting she finally finished her costume and we spontaneously decided to take pictures under the cherry trees. Although we have known each other for almost 4 years(?) now this is the first time we actually cosplay together! It was about time!
I'm very grateful Devil and Franky agreed to take pictures of us although we weren't their actual models that day. I really appreciate it and I'm happy the way the pictures turned out. Thank you once again!

This may be an odd question, but did you sew blue ribbon onto green cloth or did you buy cloth with this pattern and make the various clothing?

It's not an odd question. We actually sewed all the blue ribbons onto the green fabric, because it was impossible to find a fabric with that pattern anywhere. :)

OK, possibly dumb follow up question but do you know of anywhere that sells cloth with a design you can choose? Because this cosplayer once told me about a site that does that but I can't remember their name.

You mean you are looking for a shop which sells fabric with a pattern you'd like them to print?
No, sorry. I have never heard of a shop like this before. Sorry. D:

I once met a lady at a convention who knew of an online store where pattern printed fabric could be ordered but she was a professional seamstress. She probably orders such fabric in large quantities for her clients so they probably wouldn't create just enough cloth for one of us to make a single costume.
