Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS 2.0

When I looked at my deviantArt profile page this morning I noticed that I hadn't posted a journal entry since the middle of February! Here are some news..!

➡ During the past weeks of inactivity I finished my 30-page term paper for university and worked on my costumes for the Leipzig bookfair which took part last weekend. I debuted my Ion Fortuna costume from Trinity Blood and my Catwoman / Selina Kyle costume there.
Although the bookfair is no real convention it (kind of) represents the start of the new cosplay season in Germany each year.
Since Leipzig is 550 kilometres away from the place I live I had never attended the bookfair before. It was great to see the fairground and the different booths for the first time though. I had a lot of fun watching the ECG (= European Cosplay Gathering) preliminaries and cosplaying Catwoman together with an amazing Gotham City Sirens group!
(At this point once again CONGRATULATIONS to Calssara who won the ECG preliminaries [Solo Skit]!)

➡ Unfortunately there are also bad news to announce. Due to the immense university workload I have to get over with this semester I won't be able to make more than two new costumes until August. Consequently my costume line-up looks rather sparse. I'm still unsure whether I can attend Dokomi in Düsseldorf or not.

➡ Besides these costumes I'm also working on various cosplay tutorials. I'll upload a tutorial on how to make superhero masks out of Wonderflex or Worbla's Finest Art shortly. I'm also planning to upload a tutorial on how to make Catwoman's googles and her cowl. The pattern for the cowl will be available for purchase as well.
